Cookie and Local Storage Policy — WalletHero

1. General information
- This Policy describes how the WalletHero platform, operated by Collective Arkadiusz Wasilonek (a sole proprietorship registered in CEIDG, ul. Florencja 23D, 05-300 Mińsk Mazowiecki, Poland, VAT ID (NIP) 8222182106, REGON 14584187900000), uses cookies and similar technologies for storing information on the user’s terminal device (in particular the browser’s localStorage).
- The legal basis for the use of these technologies is the Polish Electronic Communications Law, governing the storage of information or access to information already stored on a user’s terminal equipment, and — with respect to personal data — the GDPR.
- Storage of information strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user (e.g., maintaining a signed-in session) does not require the user’s consent.
- Our products do not use cookies or other technologies for advertising purposes and contain no third-party advertising trackers.
2. WalletHero admin panel (Merchant application)
- The admin panel uses the browser’s localStorage to store information necessary for the application to function:

- Data in localStorage is kept on the user’s device until sign-out, session expiry, or manual clearing of browser data.
- The panel uses Sentry — error monitoring and session replay used to diagnose technical problems. Content entered by users in forms is masked in session recordings. Sentry may use browser storage mechanisms to the extent necessary for this feature to work. The basis for processing is our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper functioning and security of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- When signing in with Google Sign-In, Google may set its own cookies necessary to perform the authentication. Their use is governed by Google’s privacy policy. Google Sign-In is optional — email/password sign-in is also available.
3. Customer loyalty portal
- The loyalty portal, through which Merchants’ end customers access their passes and point balances, uses no analytics tools or trackers.
- The portal may only use storage mechanisms technically necessary for its operation (e.g., session maintenance).
4. Mobile wallet passes
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes contain no cookies or other tracking mechanisms. Pass delivery and updates are performed via Apple (APNs/PassKit) and Google (Google Wallet API) services under those providers’ terms.
5. User controls
- Users may at any time delete data stored in localStorage and cookies using their browser settings (site data clearing functions).
- Deleting necessary data (e.g., session tokens) will sign the user out and require signing in again; blocking these mechanisms may prevent use of the panel.
- Because we do not use cookies or storage technologies for purposes other than those necessary to provide the service (and the diagnostics described in Section 2.3), we do not display a separate cookie consent banner. Should technologies requiring consent be introduced in the future, this Policy will be updated and consent will be collected before they are activated.
6. Changes to this Policy
